Getting to Shaffa
Shaffa is on Jalan Pantai Balangan, the road that runs down towards Balangan Beach, between Jimbaran and Uluwatu on the Bukit. This is the practical page: how long the drive takes from wherever you are staying, where to leave the car or the scooter, what time the sun goes down, and when it is worth booking a table first.

Coming from the airport, from Jimbaran or from anywhere north, the last stretch is Jalan Pantai Balangan itself: you drive several kilometres along it and Shaffa is on that road. Coming up from Uluwatu the approach is through Pecatu on Jalan New Kuta Raya and on to the same road.
How long it takes to get here
Road distances and driving times, measured door to door on a clear road. Bali traffic can add to any of them, and the hour before sunset is the busiest on the Bukit, so leave yourself more time if you are coming for the evening.

On a scooter most of these run shorter, and the beaches around Balangan are all inside twenty minutes: Dreamland, Bingin, Padang Padang and Melasti in one direction, Jimbaran and the fish grills in the other.
Parking
Shaffa has its own parking at the restaurant, for cars and for scooters. Nothing has to be left on the road, which on Jalan Pantai Balangan matters more than it sounds: it is a working road down to a surf beach, and it is narrow in places.
When to come
The kitchen runs from eight in the morning until ten at night, Tuesday to Sunday, and until four on Monday. Breakfast is served 08:00 to 14:00, brunch 10:00 to 14:00, dinner 14:00 to 22:00. Coffee is on all day.

Sunset here falls between about 18:07 and 18:46 depending on the month: earliest around the start of May, latest in January. The terrace is open to the air over the jungle with the ocean beyond, so for the light still on the table, sitting down by half past five is the safe call. After dark the room runs on lantern light.

For dinner, booking is the safe move. If there are several of you, book the evening ahead: evenings fill first, and a table for a group is easier to set aside when we know you are coming. Breakfast and brunch are usually fine to walk in for.

How do I get to Shaffa from Canggu?
Canggu is 34 km away, about 40 minutes on a clear road. The drive comes down the bypass, on to Jalan Uluwatu and then Jalan Pantai Balangan, which runs past the restaurant.
How do I get to Shaffa from the airport?
Ngurah Rai Airport is 18 km away, about 28 minutes on a clear road: Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai, then Jalan Uluwatu, then Jalan Pantai Balangan.
How do I get to Shaffa from Seminyak or Kuta?
Both are about 24 km and roughly half an hour on a clear road, down the bypass and on to Jalan Pantai Balangan.
